- Iron on fibre-reinforced polyester film. Does not have adhesive on it to save weight. Uses a separate adhesive that is applied to the model framework (Balsaloc). Strong and stiff but very light covering. Looks like coloured tissue with a high gloss finish. Aluminium looks like polished alloy.Balsaloc adhesive is applied to the wood using a scrap of plastic sponge andallowed to dry. Fibafilm then ironedon and tight with extra heat. Weight 40-45 g.s.m.
