The FMS Edge 540 is without a doubt one of the best built foam planes you have ever seen. There are more carbon spars molded into this plane than any other we know of. The landing gear is among the most robust on the market and the servos are all 17g digital metal servos which let this planes show all of his performance excellent. There are no 9g servos in this plane.

The rudder has pinned hinges for extra safety and performance. The Build quality of this plane is second to none. The thick plastic spar that connects the two elevator halves makes this the best designed foam elevator on the market.

This plane has an amazing ability to do both very high and very slow speed passes. Hovering, harriers, knife edge flight, and outside loops can performed with relative ease. This is one great sport plane which is capable of many 3D maneuvers. The FMS Edge 540 is very easy to land but the scale rubber tires and strong landing gear are ready to absorb the shock of the occasional not so perfect landing. We thought about everything with this plane. There is even a separate compartment on the bottom of the plane for your receiver and antenna. The receiver compartment is easily accessible by removing a magnetic hatch cover. The separate battery compartment on the top of the plane also has a strong magnetic hatch.
