Minicars was founded by Per Gustafsson in 1968 in Ludvika. In 1971, the company moved to Uppsala, where it operated until 2009, when the need for larger facilities became too great. The solution was to build our own property in Enköping, strategically located along the E18 highway between Stockholm and Oslo.

Initially, Minicars focused on slot racing, and as early as the 1960s, we were proud importers of well-known brands such as Parma and Associated Electrics. By the mid-70s, our production gradually shifted towards RC products, which became a natural step for us.

Since the early 80s, Minicars has been a dedicated wholesale distributor, continuously expanding our range of brands over the years. Some key milestones include Traxxas, which we started importing in 1989, Futaba, where we became agents in 1990, and in 2020, we also became a distributor for O.S. Engine.

Today, we are one of Europe’s largest distributors, offering a wide selection of brands and more than 30,000 products in stock.
