New 1/10 Monster & Stadium Truck Tires! We've received a line of new truck tires with bead-lock system and MFT tech suitable for 1/10 Stadium Trucks and 1/10 Monster Trucks - for example Rustler, Rustler 4x4, Stampede & Stampede 4x4 etc. Bead-Lock System Bead-lock means that the tire is hold in place with a bead locking ring that is bolted in place with ten M3 screws on each side. That means that they can be dissasembled and that there is no glue joint that can break apart. 3.2" Big Wheels & Tires
Note that these Bead-Lock wheels are "over-sized" with a 3.2" diameter (normal 1/10 truck wheels are 2.8") and they have a 12mm hex. That also means that the outer diameter of the tyre itself is larger that the norm. Check that the gearing is compensated so you dont overload the motor and/or ESC (smaller pionion gear or larger spur gear). It may be a good advice to also updated the steering servo to a beifier one of the same reason (larger tires = softer rubber = more grip = more load on the steering). MFT (Micro Fiber Tech)
Louise have earlier introduced their MFT system on for example their X-Maxx tires with great sucess. MFT means in short that that the so called "ballooning" is reduced due to the new tyre design that incorporates a cord. The ballooning effect mostly happens on performance trucks with large diameter and width tires where they expand to a degree that it hurts perfomance and, in a worst case senario, the tire can "explode" or crack at the molded seam. Soft Rubber Our normal Louise 2.8" truck tires have a sport rubber but these new MFT tires use a softer more grippy rubber for overall more performance and grip! |
