- Support for PWM, bidirectional DShot and OneShot
- Built-in BEC with 3.3 V, 4.5 V, 5 V and 12 V outputs
What sets the F722 apart from the F405?
The F722 targets FPV and racing with up to 8 channel outputs and a 12 V BEC, while the F405 offers broader firmware and receiver support according to the specification.
- F722: Support for Betaflight and INAV, up to M1–M8 and 12 V BEC.
- F405: Support for ArduPilot, Betaflight and INAV as well as more receiver protocols according to the specification.
- Choose the F722 for racing, freestyle and powerful FPV builds with up to 8 motor outputs.
- Choose the F405 if you prioritize broader firmware support, for example ArduPilot.
High-performance configuration
An STM32F722RET6 processor, ICM42688 gyro, barometer, 128 MB blackbox and switched power supply give fast response and precise flight control in demanding FPV and multirotor builds.
Support for further development
The F722 supports open source-based development, with source code and configuration files on GitHub:
Betaflight configuration for the RadioLink F722
Optimized PCB layout and low interference level
Optimized routing and component placement combine high current capacity with a low noise level for more reliable sensor data and more stable flight.
HD digital and analog video transmission
Plug-and-play video transmission uses a 6-pin interface for DJI HD digital and a 4-pin VOUT interface for analog FPV equipment, and CADDX digital image transmission is also supported.
Controllable 12 V BEC for video transmission
The built-in 12 V BEC output can power video transmission, and a switch can be configured as a 12 V BEC switch to toggle that power via the transmitter once correctly installed and configured.
- 3.3 V / 300 mA
- 4.5 V / 500 mA
- 5 V / 3 A
- 12 V / 3 A
Multiple interfaces for flexible builds
The F722 supports up to 8 output channels for multirotors with 2-8 motors, including X8, and its socket interfaces and extra solder pads make external devices easy to connect and expand while keeping the build compact.
Support for ESC telemetry and common ESC protocols
The F722 supports PWM, bidirectional DShot and OneShot plus ESC telemetry for better monitoring, troubleshooting and fine-tuning.
Integrated OSD for FPV flying
The integrated OSD shows flight information directly in the video image without an external module, including (depending on firmware, settings and equipment) flight mode, distance, GPS satellites, longitude and latitude, battery voltage, current, GPS speed, home direction, blackbox status and throttle position.
Automated quality testing
The F722 is tested with an automated software system covering sensors, ports and interfaces for consistent quality and a lower fault risk than manual testing alone.
Cost-effective solution for FPV and RC
The F722 pairs with, for example, a T16D transmitter, R16F receiver, TS100 GPS, DJI/CADDX HD video transmission, HD goggles and an ELRS module for long range, making it a flexible base for FPV, racing and cinematic builds.
