The MAX-21-TM series evolves two of Traxxas' most iconic vehicles, the REVO (and T-MAXX - that neeeds a different exhaust manifold), into ultimate trucks that combine even more power and ease of handling. While the engine base is a bolt-on small-block, the unconventional 21-size displacement allows for a larger displacement engine than kit-standard. The system allows for a complete bolt-on replacement, including the start system—a major attraction of the REVO so no special know-how is required for engine replacement. Small block that delivers ultimate power
Based on OS's racing know-how, the engine features a 17mm big bore, the largest in its class for a small block, giving the REVO even more power and stability. The refined carburetor also has the smooth output characteristics that only OS can provide, providing high controllability and allowing you to easily maneuver the powerful monster truck.
Dedicated manifold used
O.S.Engines' high-powered MAX-21TM-R (and MAX-21TM-T) engines for the Traxxas are specially designed models, each with its own exhaust manifold. The easy conversion is also a major attraction: simply remove the kit-standard engine with a screwdriver and replace the starter unit and other components. Add your own unique power to each of these evolving truck models.
This engine is designed especially to power the Revo. Purposely designed LC3 glow plug is supplied with the engine for improved power, fuel economy and durability. The carburetor offers easy handling as well as high performance.
