The clock is wound with the ignition key at the front. The time is set by turning the large gear closest to the clock face clockwise until the minute hand falls to zero, after which the hour hand is moved anticlockwise to the correct hour and the minute hand is set with the same gear. If the clock runs fast or slow the pendulum is adjusted: the circular weight at the bottom is moved for coarse adjustment and the ball at the top for fine tuning. The parts are laser cut on wooden boards and assemble without glue or special tools, with instructions in eleven languages and spare parts free of charge on request. With 265 parts and around five hours of assembly the article sits in the middle segment; the package measures 37.3 x 17 x 5 cm, weighs 730 g and ships four units per carton.
