The model is modular and belongs to the Ugears Marble Run series together with UG70156, UG70157 and UG70170. With the connectors included, two or four runs can be joined into a single installation, and the escapement at the end of each run can send the marbles back to the same hoist, on to an adjacent run, or alternate between them by means of a weighted switch. Ten coloured glass marbles are included. The wood ships natural and can be painted to taste; paint is not included, and the construction is fully mechanical with no batteries or electronics. With 266 parts and around six hours of assembly the article is rated Advanced, and the outer carton holds 5 units.
