The MOTO COMPACT Folding Scooter is a spring-driven model scooter that travels up to 2 metres on a single wind-up. The front and rear sections are pushed together to fold the model, which also collapses the handlebars into their tucked-away position, and the folded scooter can rest on the kickstand that flips down from the left side. To prepare a run the sections are pulled slightly apart so the handlebars rise, the driver seat is pressed down to engage the stop mechanism, and the spring is wound with the ratchet knob on the right side. The kickstand is raised, the small guide wheels underneath are lowered for balance, and pressing the passenger seat at the rear acts as the start button: the driver seat pops up and the main gear engages. The handlebars set in one of three positions for a straight course or a curve to the left or right, and the model has front and rear suspension.

The model is built in pre-laser-cut plywood and assembles without glue or special tools. The drive is fully mechanical, so neither batteries nor electronics are required, and the start cycle can be repeated any number of times. With 192 parts and around four hours of assembly the article sits in the lower middle segment and is aimed at builders from 14 years. Step-by-step instructions in eleven languages are included and spare parts can be ordered free of charge. The package measures 37.8 x 17 x 2.7 cm and weighs 438 grams, with six units per carton.
