The model is built from laser cut plywood without glue in around fifteen hours and lands at 237 parts with an advanced difficulty rating, making it one of the more time consuming non motorised models in the range. The body ships unpainted for a custom paint job or a natural wood finish. A small carved seahorse at the bow, which gave the model its name, is a decorative rather than a functional detail. Trimaran Merihobus is sold standalone.
