Excel 2000
The Excel 2000 is a classic high-wing trainer built for stable, forgiving flight throughout the learning curve. Its flat-bottom wing section delivers high lift and calm low-speed manners – many pilots have made their very first flights on an Excel. Black Horse builds it entirely from balsa and plywood and covers it in printed heat-shrink film in the Excel 2000 design, with a 1550 mm wingspan.
Supplied almost ready to fly (ARTF) with a sturdy tricycle undercarriage – aluminium main gear and a sprung wire nose leg – plus a 58 mm spinner. Choose a glow engine (.40–.46 two-stroke or .52 four-stroke) or an electric drive.
