OcCre London tram – double-deck tram with museum history
OcCre London tram is a wooden and metal model kit in 1:24 / G-45 scale, recreating a classic double-deck London tram. The model is based on an early 20th-century B Class vehicle, from a period when electric trams became an important part of urban public transport.
For retailers, London tram offers a strong British city identity and high recognition value. The tram was built in April 1903 by Electric Railway and Tramway Carriage Works as one of one hundred B Class vehicles ordered by London County Council. Car number 106 carried passengers until 1925, was later converted into a snowbroom and is now preserved at the National Tramway Museum in Crich.
With 830 parts and an estimated build time of around 130 hours, London tram is a more demanding tram project with strong detail potential. Its story of passenger service, motor changes, hand brakes, rheostatic braking and later magnetic track brakes makes it appealing to customers who value both historic vehicles and technical detail.
