RadioLink TWC wireless trainer cable for T16D and T12D
The RadioLink TWC is a compact wireless trainer cable for the RadioLink T16D and T12D. It is used for instructor and student flying and replaces the traditional trainer cable between the transmitters.
With a wireless connection, the instructor gains greater freedom of movement during training, while the student’s transmitter can be used without a physical cable between the transmitters. The TWC weighs only 3 g and is 15 cm long, which makes it easy to bring to the flying field.

Wireless solution for trainer mode
The TWC makes it possible to use trainer mode without a cable between the instructor’s and the student’s transmitter. This provides a cleaner and more flexible solution for RC flight training, especially when the instructor needs to be able to move freely.
The student’s transmitter is used in student mode, while the instructor can take over control via the trainer function when needed.
For T16D and T12D as the instructor transmitter
The RadioLink T16D and T12D can be used as the instructor transmitter when connected to the TWC via Type-C. Other compatible RadioLink transmitters with PPM signal output can be used as the student transmitter.
The trainer function requires PPM signal output. Always make sure that both the instructor and student transmitters are correctly configured before use.
Two trainer modes
- Toggle mode: Trainer mode is activated or toggled with one press of the selected switch. This means the instructor does not have to keep the switch held down the whole time.
- Traditional hold mode: The instructor keeps the trainer switch held down to maintain trainer mode.
In toggle mode, the switches SWA, SWB, SWC, SWD, SWE, SWF or SWG can be used. In traditional hold mode, SWH is used.
Protection against accidental activation
The TRAINER menu has an on/off function for trainer mode. This means the wireless trainer cable is only used when the function is activated, which reduces the risk of accidental connection or incorrect use.
Stable signal and fast response
The TWC is developed to be used together with RadioLink’s radio systems. The T16D and T12D have optimized communication technology for stable signal transmission, fast response and good fault tolerance.
The RadioLink system has fast channel response, which is important in trainer flying where the instructor needs to be able to take over control immediately.
Efficient power supply
The integrated switched-mode power supply provides a stable 5 V output. The TWC is powered via the instructor transmitter and is designed for low power consumption.
The output is intended for receivers and should not be used to power servos, video transmission or other peripheral equipment.

Good to know
The TWC requires a PPM signal. Only the T16D and T12D can be used as the instructor transmitter with the TWC. Other compatible transmitters with PPM signal output can be used as the student transmitter.
The 5 V / 200 mA output is intended for receivers and should not be used to power servos, video transmission or other peripheral equipment.
Range and function can be affected by the radio system, installation, environment and interference.
