The Aero L-39 Albatros is the world's most widely used jet trainer – the Czechoslovak classic first flew in 1968 and has been built in over 2,800 examples for more than 30 air forces. Black Horse recreates it at a 1450 mm wingspan, built entirely from balsa and plywood and covered in printed heat-shrink film.
Driven by a powerful 90 mm fan with a 10-blade impeller, it delivers fast, exciting flight. Supplied nearly ready to fly (ARTF) with electric retracts and a controller (included). Suited to pilots with jet or high-speed experience.
