RadioLink R7FG-VC 7-channel receiver
The RadioLink R7FG-VC is a compact, versatile 7-channel 2.4 GHz receiver for RC cars, boats and robot projects, with stable control, real-time telemetry and flexible signal output (PWM, PPM and SBUS). Up to 600 metres of range on the ground, FHSS spread spectrum technology, an integrated Gyro and IPX4 splash protection give safe, responsive control in ground and boat models.

Stable control with up to 600 metres of range
The R7FG-VC has a specified range of up to 600 metres on the ground and suits RC cars, boats and FPV-inspired ground models. The range may vary with the installation, antenna placement, surroundings and signal conditions.
FHSS communication with strong interference protection
The R7FG-VC uses FHSS spread spectrum technology and 67-channel pseudorandom frequency hopping for a stable signal and strong interference protection even when several drive at once. The industrial 32-bit M0 chip provides better protection against interference, for example from combustion engines in fuel-powered model cars.
Built-in real-time telemetry
The R7FG-VC transmits RSSI, receiver voltage and model voltage in real time; RSSI and receiver voltage are shown on the transmitter’s display after binding. Model voltage is shown by connecting the battery to the telemetry port via the included voltage feedback cable, with no extra module, for up to an 8S battery (33.6 V). Two-way communication requires current firmware.
IPX4 splash protection
The circuit board and pins have a nano-coating, similar to that in mobile phones, and the receiver is splash-protected to IPX4 (protection against splashing water). Both version V1.2 and V1.3 of the R7FG are designed for IPX4.
Support for PWM, PPM and SBUS
The R7FG-VC supports several signal output modes and is flexible for different RC installations.
- PWM mode: When the LED lights up green or red, a PWM signal is sent from CH1 to CH7.
- PWM + PPM / PWM + SBUS mode: When the LED lights up blue or purple, PWM is sent from CH1 to CH5, PPM from CH6 and SBUS from CH7.
The signal output can be tailored to the model type and installation, for example for model boats and cars with FPV equipment.
Integrated Gyro for steadier driving
The R7FG-VC has an integrated Gyro with adjustable Gyro sensitivity that helps the vehicle hold its heading, gives smoother cornering and steadier driving at higher speeds, and can reduce skidding and unwanted drift.
4096 precision and fast response
The R7FG-VC has 4096-step resolution, 0.25 µs per section and fast response within 12 ms for smooth, precise control, and the 48 MHz M0 processor gives fast signal processing and stable operation.
Subsidiary ID function
The R7FG-VC supports Subsidiary ID to specify a particular ID among several bound receivers, and a total of 10 Subsidiary IDs can be stored – useful for, for example, long-distance rescue, towing or several models with the same transmitter.
Reverse-polarity protection and a wide voltage range
The R7FG-VC has reverse-polarity protection, preventing damage if the power poles are connected incorrectly, and the operating voltage of 3–12 V supports high-voltage servos.

Good to know
The maximum range can vary with the model, installation, antenna placement, environment and signal conditions; place the receiver so the antenna gets good signal reception. Telemetry for model voltage requires a connection via the voltage feedback cable, and two-way communication and certain functions may require current firmware – always check that the receiver is compatible with your transmitter and that the correct signal output, Gyro sensitivity and channel settings are selected before use.
