RadioLink R8FGH 8-channel receiver with gyro
The RadioLink R8FGH is an 8-channel 2.4 GHz receiver with dual antennas, an integrated gyro and support for PWM and SBUS, designed for RC cars, boats and robot projects where stable control, fast response and telemetry for higher battery voltages matter. With FHSS spread spectrum, 67-channel pseudorandom frequency hopping, up to 600 metres of range on the ground and IPX4 splash protection, it is a versatile choice for demanding ground and boat models.

FHSS communication with strong interference protection
The R8FGH uses FHSS spread spectrum and 67-channel pseudorandom frequency hopping for stable signal transmission and strong interference protection, even when several users are driving at the same time. The technology also helps reduce interference from, for example, fuel-powered engines.
Response down to 3 ms
When used with the RC8X transmitter, the servo speed can be selected between 14 ms, 4 ms and 3 ms, while the default with other transmitters is 14 ms; 14 ms is recommended for analog servos and 4 ms or 3 ms for digital servos. For the 3 ms option, the RC8X with firmware V1.1.5 or later and the FHSS V2 protocol are required, and the R8FGH must carry V2.1 marking or a manufacturing date, PASS, of 2023-04-26 or later.
Up to 600 metres of control range
The R8FGH has a specified remote-control range of up to 600 metres on the ground and, together with a camera, display or goggles, can be used in FPV models. The range can vary depending on the model, installation, antenna placement, surroundings and signal conditions.
Integrated gyro with adjustable sensitivity
The R8FGH has an integrated high-performance gyro with a software filter and a PID algorithm that improves stability during acceleration, braking and driving on varying surfaces. The gyro sensitivity is adjusted with the PS3 switch depending on the model, surface and driving style.
Built-in real-time telemetry for up to 14S
The R8FGH has built-in real-time telemetry for the model’s battery voltage, RSSI and receiver voltage, with RSSI and receiver voltage shown once binding is complete. The model voltage is shown by connecting the cable to the ESC, the battery and the telemetry port with no extra module, and is supported from 3 to 60 V, up to 14S.
Support for PWM and SBUS
The RadioLink R8FGH supports both PWM and SBUS, which makes the receiver flexible for different types of RC installations.
- PWM mode: The green LED, or the green and red LEDs, are lit steadily and indicate PWM signal output on a total of 8 channels.
- PWM + SBUS mode: The blue LED is lit steadily and indicates PWM + SBUS signal output.
- CH1 to CH7: PWM signal output.
- CH8: SBUS signal output.
IPX4 splash protection
The R8FGH uses nano-coating on the circuit board and pins, similar to that used in mobile phones, and is splash-protected to IPX4, that is, protection against splashing water according to the IEC standard.
Subsidiary ID function
The R8FGH supports Subsidiary ID, which makes it possible to assign a specific ID among several bound receivers – useful for, for example, long-range rescue, towing, teaching or several models on the same transmitter.

Good to know
The range can vary depending on the model, installation, antenna placement, surroundings and signal conditions, and for best performance the receiver should be placed so the antennas get good reception. Response down to 3 ms requires a compatible RC8X transmitter, the right firmware and the FHSS V2 protocol, telemetry for model voltage requires a cable connection to the ESC, the battery and the telemetry port, and you should always check that the correct signal output, gyro sensitivity and channel settings are selected before use.
