The Zlín Z-50 is a Czech purpose-built aerobatic aircraft that first flew in 1975 and dominated the World Aerobatic Championships through the 1980s (world titles in 1984 and 1986). Black Horse renders it at a 2145 mm wingspan, built entirely from balsa and plywood and covered in printed heat-shrink film.
The stiff, highly-loaded airframe delivers precise, powerful aerobatics for the expert. Shock-absorbing aluminium main and tail gear, a GRP cowl and wheel pants, and a hand-painted pilot figure are included. Build as 30–35cc petrol or with an electric drive.
