Ryan 120 V2
The Ryan ST/STA is an elegant low-wing sport monoplane from 1934 with a polished aluminium fuselage and clean, timeless lines – the same family that gave rise to the military PT-22 Recruit trainer. Black Horse renders it in this large V2 edition at a 2350 mm wingspan, built entirely from balsa and plywood and factory-covered in Oracover.
The moderate wing loading gives a responsive, forgiving flight attitude that suits experienced sport pilots. Supplied pre-built (ARF) with functional landing flaps, a two-part wing with aluminium tube joiner, a GRP cowl and pilot figure, stainless-steel oleo struts up front and a spring-wire tail gear (included), an 80 mm spinner – for 20–30cc petrol or electric.
