The famous de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver – the ’workhorse of the north’ that first flew in 1947 and was built in around 1,600 examples – evolved into the DHC-2T Turbo Beaver with a turbine engine, more power and a larger cabin. Black Horse renders it at a 2250 mm wingspan, built entirely from balsa and plywood and factory-covered in Oracover.
The high wing, USA 35-B airfoil and rugged undercarriage make it a practical, easy-flying all-year model. Detailed cockpit with a pilot figure. Supplied as an ARF with a 70 mm spinner – build as 20–30cc petrol or electric.
