The Heinkel He 111 was designed in the mid-1930s and first presented as a fast Lufthansa airliner – a cover for its true role as a bomber. It became Germany's most important medium bomber early in WWII, recognisable by its fully glazed, asymmetric ’greenhouse’ nose. Black Horse faithfully renders this twin-engine bomber at a 1750 mm wingspan, built from laser-cut balsa and plywood.
The factory-built, painted cockpit with a pilot figure keeps your work to a minimum, and a large hatch gives easy access to the batteries. Build as a twin electric (ideal) or with 2× .25–.32 glow engines.
