The Noorduyn Norseman is a Canadian high-wing bush plane that first flew in 1935, built for rugged operation on wheels, skis or floats. Black Horse recreates its classic lines at a 1840 mm wingspan, built entirely from balsa and plywood and covered in Oracover.
Wing struts, working flaps and a sturdy aluminium main gear with a steerable spring-wire tailwheel (included) give dependable, forgiving flight from rough fields. Supplied as an ARF for .55 glow or electric. (Bandleader Glenn Miller disappeared in a Norseman over the English Channel in 1944.)
